What is the Jamaica Patriotic Movement

I came across the Jamaica Patriotic Movement in some online post and began wondering who and what the represent.  The Jamaica Patriotic Movement (JPM) website says they are creating a political movement to remove the influences of outside countries causing a social decline in the country.  They say they will reverse the effects of imperialism.  They want an independent economic and political life, not dominated by foreign countries.  Sounds like something I could get behind and it’s a much different message from from the Jamaica Labor Party (JLP) and People’s National Party (PNP).
