I’ve always dreaded upgrading Microsoft O.S. (Operating Systems), Windows. Every chance they get the add something I don’t need, take the opportunity to put a bunch of new adds in your face and break things that were working fine. I’ve always felt like I shouldn’t pay for adds. As as software engineer I know that there is a way to just update and O.S. to fight security and virus threats without having to update the software but the fact that older versions of Windows can’t be upgraded to Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.1 Developer Pack. Is a big slap in the face and should be an embarrassment to Microsoft. All while every other operating systems (mainly Mac OS and Linux distributions in this case) allows you to install regardless of version.
